What to Expect
You may have been referred by your doctor, an insurance company, solicitor, a psychiatrist or in some cases you may have self-referred.
Initial assessment appointments are conveniently arranged so that we can meet in a private, confidential setting for 50 minutes to 1 hour. A psychological assessment report is usually prepared and sent back to your referrer.
Therapy may then take place on a weekly or fortnightly basis. The number of therapy sessions can vary from 6-20 sessions. If a specific therapeutic intervention is not offered then other specialist services can be recommended.
